Brierfield is a great little community located right in-between Alpharetta and Crabapple, off Mid Broadwell Rd. I don’t live in Brierfield but had the fortune of being invited by some friends to their neighborhood Chili Cook-Off last Saturday.
The clubhouse was packed full and the range of offerings from the contestants ran the gambit. All the chili was delicious andI have my opinion about which one was best…I’ll just say congrats to the winner! There was enough food for three times the crowd, belive me , nobody left hungry. The neighbors were all great and you could tell that they really enjoyed hanging out together, but the highlight was the band—Hot Boiled Peanuts!
This was not a few amateurs but talented musicians playing really good Bluegrass music. I don’t know who arranged for them to play but they were a hit.
Brierfield is the kind of neighborhood that so many people look for. Lot’s of involvement in community improvements, but mostly friends enjoying some good food, drink and music on a Saturday evening. I’m already looking forward to the next event.
Do you have an event your community is hosting? Tell me about it.

Great post! In addition to being a resident of Brierfield, I also attended the Second Annual Chili Cook-Off - it was a great time! Sunday morning did come a little too quickly, though!
When my wife and I decided to move here from Seattle a couple years ago, we knew we wanted to live in North Fulton because of the great schools. We also limited our search to the Alpharetta-Roswell area. In making the decision to purchase a home in Brierfield we could not be happier! It is rare that you have great schools, a great community, great neighbors and great Chili!
